Aussies love to get outdoors and enjoy the summer sunshine, but with the ever-increasing need to be sun smart, it can be hard for parents to keep their children protected from the harsh rays of the Aussie sun.

As mothers of young children we know how difficult it is to get squirming and excited little kids lathered up in sunscreen before they go out to play.

Whilst looking for clothing for our children that offered good protection from the sun, was stylish and suited to everyday wear, we were left hot and bothered and so Shady Days was born…

Shady Days sells clothing and accessories for the 1-6 year age group. Our garment designs take into consideration the recommendations of SunSmart, the Cancer Council of Victoria’s internationally recognised skin cancer prevention program. As such, our designs ensure high levels of protection for young children who love to get out there and play in the sunshine. Our main goal is to provide a sun protective clothing option, but we are also passionate about producing children’s clothes that are stylish, age appropriate and not your every day, run of the mill, mass-produced product.

Shady Days clothes are 100% Australian made, practical, comfortable, affordable, and ensure we’ve got well-dressed little ones on our beaches, parks and playgrounds.
